Matthew — GoSolar

Matthew came to sell us solar panels. We ended up talking about his website. He already had one. It worked — it just wasn't doing what he wanted it to, and he knew it. There were problems he could see and some he couldn't. He wanted more out of his Facebook page too. So before we touched a single page, we sat down and talked about the business itself: who he actually wants as customers, where he wants GoSolar to go, and what the brand should stand for when someone lands on it cold.

Does this site actually speak to the people you want buying from you — or just to anyone who happens to find it?

A complete review and refresh of the site, measured against what came out of that first conversation. Text big enough to read without squinting. Written in natural English, not translated jargon. Structured so both Google and the AI assistants people now ask first can understand what GoSolar does and who it's for. Facebook came next, once he saw what the site was doing. Now we make the marketing decisions with him.

He told us we were at the top end of expensive for the build. He's still here, and the work has grown every year since. In the first month of us running both the website and the Facebook page, his contact form brought in as many enquiries as the previous two months put together — plus WhatsApp messages, which weren't even an option on the old site. We ended up buying panels from him.
